Manic Street Preachers: Generation Terrorists
This is Nicky's surprised look when he opens the hotel door in New York and finds Guido standing there. Happy 4th of July!
Happy father and son. Of course, they'd be even more thrilled if I was there. Okay, *I* would be more thrilled if I was there.
Can you spot the serious grandmother in this picture, filming her son and grandson? We are so Asian, we film everything.
Yes, the theme of this post is love.
Designers of bathroom logos love being cute.
Ottie and I love New York hotdogs.
Cris and Stacy love each other.
And everybody loves a good old pie fight.
Nicky and Beau love to take their uncle on a boat trip for his birthday.
Their uncle would have loved a bigger boat.
We all loved dinner on the water.
And who doesn't love a beautiful sunset?
Nicky loves to let his uncle drive.
Anna and Tako love each other so much, they got married.
Rachid and Jacqueline got married 10 years ago and loved to celebrate it.
Their little girl Dynah loves to dance. Yeah, love is in the air this month.
I saw Pierre's one man show. He is an incredibly talented singer and dancer.
I also went to see Titus' performance in an ensemble production from Harry Mens. Titus drew a crowd of primarily young fans.
No wonder. The show was just out of this world.
Mats kept remarkably quiet during the 3(!) hours of taping.
A little piece inside Djan died on this long Saturday morning.
Luckily there were burgers on the beach afterwards, which made everybody happy again.
All I did was work the last few months, here's a quick recap of the events that took place. This is me and the mrs. at an anniversary event of a sponsor.
And this is Jort rehearsing with a fellow performer.
... and getting his butt kicked. Business is brutal these days.

Jort prepares another pupil how to behead a bottle of wine.
Meanwhile I check out my competition.
Yvo demonstrates his special 'getting the cork out of a wine bottle with a napkin'-trick.
And through all this, the weather sucked. This was April-May 2009 for me folks.
I recently interviewed the woman that outsold Harry Potter in Holland, diet guru Sonja Bakker, but she wouldn't start until she had written her motto for her new magazine. So I looked at the picture and said 'Here is your motto: serenity around you, creates serenity within you.' Sonja loved it so here's picture proof that I am now officially a poet. Or a diet guru.
