The article was about how to handle a crisis, so I had to look pensive. Deep thinker, you know it.
Meanwhile Helena (right) did her part for a better world by volunteering at a dinner for employees and volunteers at the Aids Foundation.
We all help in different ways.
All I did was work the last few months, here's a quick recap of the events that took place. This is me and the mrs. at an anniversary event of a sponsor.

The theme of this party was that the world needs a change in 2009. Do we we ever.
One good change already made is that Helena moved in. This is the truck we used to move some of her favorite shoes.
The Dutch Santa Claus still has slaves is assisted by volunteers.
The big red book contains either the naughty things all Dutch children did in 2008, or all the kids' wishlists. It depends on who you ask.
I found some pictures on my phone from the last few weeks.
We had dinner at Ally's place, who was all dressed up as a gothic statue of liberty for a Halloween Party.
An old tall ship passed me by on the way to work.
It was Museum Night, which some bold clowns/clones thought was a perfect evening to lie in a bed at the Van Gogh Museum.
So we went to the zoo.
The zoo at night is wonderful. We took a guided tour passed the lions, the owls, the vultures and the zebras and walked around the aquarium by ourselves.
... then how about these guys?
I don't know who is doing worse, the lady in the blue dress and orange helmet on the, eh, on the watchamacallit, or the dude blowing his own horn next to her.
Amsterdam opened its cultural season right underneath me last weekend. I think I prefer the regular traffic.
The buildings across the water look different.
Very different.
It's an enormous cruise ship.
A whole new kind of ugly.
It looked better hidden behind the buildings.
Living along the harbor offers an entirely new view of the city.
Cruise boats dock close to my apartment and receive these type of water salutes when they leave. Good show.
